Here at ProPhysiotherapy our personal trainers, Gemma Frankland and Abbie Thomas, will work with you to achieve the goals and outcomes you want, but at ProPhysiotherapy we genuinely believe in teamwork – our expertise, your effort!

Our gym is located on the first floor, which is airy, light and spacious. We have equipment to challenge all abilities.

Whether you are training for a specific goal, for example, running a marathon or aiming to lose a few kilos of weight; or just wanting a maintenance programme, our personal trainers will ensure that your sessions are hard work, tailored to suit your ability, but above all are good fun!

All our equipment is cleaned before and after each client in keeping with health and hygiene standards. The gym is “fogged” with sodium hypochlorite, a very strong disinfectant, which sprays a fine mist over all the equipment that is used, to maintain a high level of cleanliness. Let’s Work Together!

Gemma Frankland

Gemma is an Internationally qualified Personal Trainer with over 10 years of experience. She combines many exercise disciplines such as free-weights, kettle-bells, dynabands, body-weight functional training and pilates to create motivating and effective workouts for her clients. She also has in-depth nutrition knowledge and helps clients with their approach and attitude to eating.

If you are looking for a trainer to help you lose weight, improve cardiovascular fitness or train for a sporting event then Gemma has the expertise to help. She is also highly experienced at working with pregnant and post-natal women, and clients with other specialist needs such as diabetes, high blood pressure, joint problems/bad backs, and sporting injuries.

Abbie Thomas

Alongside her career in acting, Abbie is a level 3 qualified Personal Trainer and fitness coach. Abbie began her freelance fitness career in 2013, initially specialising in high intensity interval training when qualifying as an ‘Insanity Pro’.
