Running Clubs in Wimbledon and Earlsfield

After having done two of the worst runs of my life (half marathons), I decided to check out local running clubs. I think the time has come to properly train so that I get slightly better times. Here are the top 4 (in no particular order)

Wandle Runners

They run around Earlsfield, Southfields and Wimbledon Village so they cover the ProPhysiotherapy area very well. They meet outside of Sainsburies in Earlsfield on a Tuesday night. Best bit: yearly subscription = £5

Wimbledon Hercules

If you train here, you will improve. They take running seriously but are friendly and have training nights as well as guided runs

Clapham Chasers

They meet near Wandsworth Common and have an excellent reputation as being a fun but effective training club. Triathlon training is also very much to the fore and we have very good friends in this club!

Wimbledon Windmillers

A Wimbledon stallwart! It has been around for ages. It has a loyal following and a busy schedule of runs, training and triathlon events all centred around Wimbledon common.
