Lucy Allen

Lucy qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Birmingham in 2009. Over the last 8 years she has worked across South Wales and Oxford before moving to London to start at St Marks Hospital in Harrow. Coming from an experienced musculoskeletal and sporting background, Lucy developed a passion for treating women with pelvic girdle pain both ante and postnatally; helping them continue to lead an active lifestyle.

This enthusiasm for pelvic health led Lucy to specialise in Women’s and Men’s Health with a special interest in pelvic floor dysfunction and colorectal disorders. Lucy is dedicated to helping her patients become confident in their symptom management and to regain control of intimate issues such as incontinence and sexual dysfunction.

Lucy is a qualified acupuncturist and a member of the Association of Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapists (POGP). She is also starting her Masters in Women’s Health Physiotherapy next Autumn.

Outside of work Lucy enjoys exploring new places and keeping active, she is currently training for her first triathlon but has yet to master the art of open water swimming!
